WR Merit Badge Workshop

March 7th and 14th,2025

7:30 AM - 12:00 PM each Saturday

Location: Eastwood Baptist Church. 675 N Keeneway Dr. Medford, OR. 97504

Cost: $5 per participant

Registration Opens: February 2nd

Registration Closes: March 2nd, or until classes are filled

All Scouts BSA Scouts are invited to attend the  Advancement Workshop. Registration fee is $5.00. Plan to attend the same class each weekend to get both parts. Classes may fill up, so sign up early. Come in uniform and be able to take notes. There are 4 class periods unless you choose First Aid, Electronics, or Auto Maintenance. Those 3 classes are twice as long and have 2 periods (1&2) or (3&4).  Please be aware that some merit badges will not be completed at the workshop.

Tentative Classes offered are: Art, Automotive Maintenance, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Coin Collecting, Collections, Communications, Cooking, Electronics, Environmental Science, Family Life, First Aid, Fish & Wildlife Management, Genealogy, Geocaching, Personal Fitness, Personal Management, Photography, Stamp Collecting, and a Life after Life Class

Adult Leaders will need to prepare for 2 deep leadership. Please add to your unit’s training base by having adults from your unit attend the basic training class during the workshop.

                                                 7:30 – 8:00         Check-in

                                                 8:00 – 8:15         Opening Ceremony

                                                 8:20 – 9:05         Session 1

                                                 9:10 – 9:55         Session 2

                                                 9:55 – 10:10       Snack Break

                                                10:10 – 10:55     Session 3

                                                11:00 – 11:45     Session 4

                                                11:45 – Noon     Closing
