The MEDICINE MOUNTAIN FUN RUN (Hike, Run, Walk) will be held October 9th, 2021 in person at Founders Park in Rapid City or virtually from a location near your home. The distance this year is equivalent to a 5K which equals the distance of climbing from camp to the top of Medicine Mountain and then returning to camp. 

Date: Saturday October 9th, 2021 

In Person Where: Founders Park Rapid City

Virtual Participants: You can run, walk & hike any location you choose. Even on a treadmill. 

Time: 10am

Individual Registration Fee: $30.00 includes a Limited Edition Fun Run T-shirt

Famlily Registration Fee: $50 includes 2 Limited Edition Fun Run T-shirts

Extra T-Shirts: $10 each

Distance: 5K, walk/jog/run. Timed or not, it’s up to you. But have Fun!!!

This years T-shirt will be a moisture wicking fabric with the awesome Fun Run Bison in Running Shoes on the front and the shirt color will be heathered royal blue with white print. 

Some fun facts as you get ready for this awesome event. 

Did you know that Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch is located 6,200' above sea level and Medicine Mountain's summit is at 6,878' above sea level. This difference of 678' is the same as climbing up all of the stairs in a 50 story office building.
