Pinewood Derby 2022

The Black Hills Area Council Pinewood Derby is March 19, 2022. The race will take place at VFW Post 5860, 3102 E, Fairgrounds Loop, Spearfish, SD 57783. 

Registration is required for the event for everyone that is attending. Please try to limit attendance to only the racer and a parent / guardian bringing the racer to the race. All participants and spectators are encouraged to practice social distancing and wearing a mask is encouraged but not required.

Registration Weigh-in 9am - 9:45am
RACE TIMES BELOW ARE ESTIMATES. Start Times for the next rank will be 10 mins after the previuous Rank finishes
~ Lion 10am-10:30am
~ Tiger 10:30-11am
~ Wolf 11am-11:30am
~ Bear 11:30am-Noon
~ WEBELOS Noon - 12:30pm
~  AOL's 12:30pm - 1pm
~ Cub Scout Race Of Champions 1:30pm ( 1st and 2nd place winners from each Cub Scout Rank Division Race )
~ Friends & Family 2:15pm-2:45pm ​(this division is open to all siblings, Scouts BSA members and other adults. . . you can also break the normal rules in this division. Its true we have seen a potato with wheels and an actual stick of butter racing before)
~ Outlaw 2:45pm - 3:15pm  (this division is open to all siblings, Scouts BSA members and other adults. . . you can also break the normal rules in this division. Its true we have seen a potato with wheels and an actual stick of butter racing before)
~ Scouts BSA 3:15pm-3:45pm  (this division is for Scouts that are members of Scouts BSA Troops)
~ Adult Leader 3:45pm-4:15pm  (this division is for registered Scout leaders only)

AWARDS CEREMONY WILL TAKE PLACE 15 Mins after the conclusion of the last race for the day.
