The Mining in Society Merit Badge will be offered during the weekend There are no pre-requisites. There will be an opportunity to do the tour at Big Thunder Gold Mine and pan for gold. This is included in all Scouts registration fees and is optional for adults. 

This event is a Scouts BSA event only. Cub Scouts are not able to attend.
