Cub Scout Fishing Derby

Come kick off the fall Cub Scouting season at Mackenzie Park with us!

September 27th 

Check-in starts at 7:30AM, event begins 8:00AM

Time: 8AM - 12PM, prizes awarded after fishing period ends

Food Trucks, Belt-loop Stations, and Prizes!

Every Cub Scout and Cub Scout-aged youth (Kindergarten-5th Grade) will receive a cool patch to commemorate the event!  So bring a friend to join the fun! 

Parents and non-Cub Scout age youth are welcome to participate as well, at no charge, but will be ineligible for prizes and patches.

Parent/guardian must be present on all youth attendees.

All fishing equipment and bait will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own gear!

First 100 youth to check-in will receive a tacklebox!

Fishing License required for anyone aged 17 and older.  

Prizes will be given for:

Longest Catch

Weirdest Catch

Most Caught

We will also have a prize for each rank/age group

All Non-Scout youth in attendance will receive a coupon code for $20 off membership fees for the year!
