Welcome Fellow Scouts and Scouters to University of Scouting!

On behalf of the South Plains Council, we would like to welcome you to join us this year for an amazing University of Scouting!

Please take the time to browse each college’s offerings in our Course Catalog (see attachments on this page). We’ve tried to make this catalog easy to read and understand to help you choose the courses that are right for you.

We offer several courses for adult leaders as well as some for Scouts BSA youth. All courses are open to both youth and adults.

Youth-specific classes include: ILST or Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (required to take NYLT) and Den Chief Training

Lunch and materials will be provided and are included in the registration costs.
