Basic Rifle Course

Due to a change in NRA requirements instructors are required to take the basic course in the discipline that they will be instructing.  Therefore the Garden State Council will be offering:

BASIC RIFLE COURSE

for those adults who are interested in helping on the Council's shooting ranges. Anyone interested in helping run a BB range or rifle range for the Garden State Council must be an instructor for the Rifle Discipline. This course is a prerequisite to taking the course for Rifle Instructor. This course will take the place of the rifle experience that had been required in previous instructor classes.

Range Safety Officer Course

OCTOBER UPDATE: THE LOCATION HAS MOVED TO THE COUNCIL OFFICES IN WESTAMPTON!

The RSO is the safety officer who helps run Archery, BB, rifle, shotgun, and tomahawk ranges.

RANGE SAFETY OFFICER TRAINING

Date: October 23 (8 am - 5 pm)

Fee: $90 includes training materials and lunch

That's a $35 savings over the NRA-offered course!

All in-person activities are subject to current COVID-safety guidelines. The participant waiver and health screening checklist are included as attachments.
