Attention Scouts BSA Troops and Venturing Crews: Garden State Council will be sending a contingent of 40 Scouts to Philmont Scout Ranch located in Cimarron, New Mexico. Under the leadership of Scott Bickhart, an experienced Garden State Council Philmont trek leader, the contingent will leave on July 1, 2024, and return on July 15. (Note: Travel dates are subject to change slightly.)

Philmont Scout Ranch is the Boy Scouts of America's largest national High Adventure Base. Philmont's 34 staffed camps and 55 trail camps provide an unforgettable adventure in the high country along hundreds of miles of rugged, rocky trails. The area surrounding the Ranch is rich with history, from the Native Americans who made this arid land their home to the land barons of the 19th century.

Our Council fee includes your Philmont Trek fee plus your travel and sightseeing days at the start of the trip, typically around Colorado Springs. Plus, you will get some great trek logo items!

Our registration is built to offer you a monthly payment schedule for 15 months beginning February 1, 2023, with $200 due at time of booking and $200 due each month. Don't forget: the annual Camp Card and Popcorn fundraisers are great ways to fund this lifechanging adventure! 

Registration is open. This is a non-refundable event, but registrations can be transferred to another participant. Choose the "mail payment" option to create your own payment schedule and pay Council directly with check or card.
