Camp Roosevelt Summer Camp 2022
Get Back Outside This Summer!!

Welcome to the 2022 summer camp season at Camp Roosevelt! We are excited to have you as part of our 95-year history and as a part of the Camp Roosevelt family. While our virtual Camp Connected in 2020 and 2021 was fun, we are so excited to be back in-person to deliver a full Scouts BSA summer camp experience.

ROUGH RIDER FIRST YEAR PROGRAM

New Scouts: Join together to gain the knowledge and skills needed for the Scout through 2nd Class ranks as you take your first steps on the Trail to Eagle! Select our Rough Rider First Year Program as one of your classes during checkout. You will still be able to select a few merit badges! 

NEW THIS YEAR

We have updated our open program activity choices this year! With a mixture of Scouting programs and just plain fun, choose from kick ball, human chess, science experiments, handicraft projects, capture the flag, and so much more! Look for the daily posting of fun selections.

Also new: Magic the Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons tournaments! Hands-on fun all day, fantastic adventures after dinner!

RETURNING FAVORITES

Knifty Knotter competition, Greased Watermelon, Aquatics Meet, Scout Skills Meet, Black Powder and Cowboy Action times on the range, and more!

EXTRA AWARDS

In addition to merit badges and leader training, Scouts and Scouters alike can pursue any of these BSA awards during their open periods!

REGISTRATION NOTES

Preorder certain Trading Post Items! Preorder your Troop Photo -- 5x7 prints are $10, 8x10 are $15 (can be ordered at camp as well). Also preorder guest tickets to the Friday Night Family Dinner -- Adults are $10, Kids of Cub age are $5, those younger than 5 are free. More Trading Post items may be added soon!

WEBELOS Resident Camp July 24 - 27!

Calling all WEBELOS and AOL Scouts: See what camp is like in Scouts BSA at Camp Roosevelt's WEBELOS Resident Camp! You get the best of both worlds: A taste of life as an older Scout with a fun theme like Cub Day Camp. Bonus for the adults: When WEBELOS register together, your adults can benefit from the same ratio discount as Troop attending our Scouts BSA camp.
