Get your unit ready for Operation Polar Bear, a fun-fueled day of Scout skill competitions, in-person at Pine Hill Scout Reservation!
A Klondike Derby is a competitive event that uses sledges and Klondike Gold Rush themes to complete a multiple “city” course and sledge race, challenging each sled team’s skills and teamwork. The purpose of the Derby is first, a grand outdoor “winter” adventure full of fun and surprises, and second, a way for Scouts to test their basic camping and survival skills.
Online registration closes 2/26, close of business and all payments must be completed by the day of the event.
Competition and Team details are outlined in the Leaders Guide, listed in the attachments.
COST: $15 per person including patch. Unit camping is included! Units must provide their own meals.
Only paid participants will get a patch.
Adults and Scouts must register and will be provided a wristband for the weekend.
Unit rosters are required upon arrive at camp. Friday night at the gate during check-in, Satursday morning at the cub pavilion during check-in.
