Program Hazard Analysis for Program Activities

Orientation to Program Hazard Analysis for Activities Chairs.
In person at the Rowan Training Center or Zoom
On Thursday, June 30, 2026, we will be holding an Orientation to the Program Hazard Analysis Process for all District and Council Activities Chairs and Activities Teams from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the Rowan Training Center in Westampton, NJ and by Zoom.
As part of the National Camp Accreditation Program the Council must conduct a Council program design, safety, and risk review (NCAP Standard PD-112). One of the tools that the Council will be using will be the “Program Hazard Analysis” tool.
The tool will help identify, analyze, and develop mitigation strategies for potential hazards. To begin the process, we have scheduled this orientation for the Activities Chairs and/or Activities Teams to orientate them to the tool.
To prepare for this orientation we are asking you to look at what programs/stations/activities that you provide at your activities and bring the list to orientation.
This orientation must be completed by all District and Council Activities Chairs and/or a member of their Activities Teams.
It is critical that a representative from your activities attend the orientation. Ideally it would be preferred that the representative attend in person, but if unable to, a zoom link will be provided for those who register.
