Osprey District Cub-o-ree Space Knights Adventure at Camp Roosevelt

Join Us for an Out-of-This-World Adventure!

Get ready to blast off into an intergalactic weekend filled with excitement, adventure, and the spirit of the Space Knights! Join us for The Osprey District Cub-o-ree Cub Scout Family Camp at Camp Roosevelt, a family camping adventure where young explorers will embark on an epic journey through the stars. 

Each Unit should complete 1 registration. Please let us know if you plan to camp 1 night, 2 nights, or just come for the day Saturday.

Campsites will be assigned based on unit size and site availability. Please email Amy Pessolano at amy.pessolano@gmail.com to let us know if you have a campsite preference. Saturday will consist of an opening flag ceremony, activity stations, and conclude with a large group campfire program. 

Units are also encouraged to decorate their campsites with the "Space Theme". 

Activity Station Highlights:

Nature Hike - Search the forest for plants and learn about the forces of nature.  

Blaster Target Practice – Hone your accuracy with safe, fun shooting sports. After completing a safety briefing, scouts will have the opportunity to earn shooting sports advancement in BB and Archery. Please complete a shooting sports waiver for each scout attending. 

Build Your Own Space Gear – Laser sword creation and space crafts, plus science experiments round out the activity stations
Campfire Stories of the Cosmos – Gather ‘round for tales of adventure and heroism. Each unit should prepare a skit or song to share!
 

Intergalactic Feast – Each Unit should plan for their own meals. The Order of the Arrow will be at camp on Saturday with a concession stand for low-cost lunch options, snacks and drinks as a fundraiser for their upcoming trip to Puerto Rico.

The schedule will include break time for fishing, GAGA, or bonding with your fellow scouts. If you plan to fish, please bring your own gear.

 This is a family-friendly event, perfect for Cub Scouts of all ages. Whether you're a young Padawan or a seasoned Space Knight, adventure awaits among the stars!
