Event Details

Come to Pine Hill Scout Reservation for tons of Cub Scouting fun! Cubs and their friends can enjoy a jam-packed day of activity stations.

The 2024 activities will include, but are not limited to:

Bottle Rockets

Monkey Bridge

Fishing

Fire Building/Starting & Smores

Archery

BBs

Boulder Wall

Gaga Ball

Wooden Go Kart

Flag Folding and Etiquette

Duty to God / Faith and Beliefs

Pumpkin Painting

Fox Hunt (transmitter hunting)

Demonstrations and Activities by Grizzly & Co.

Cub Scout Packs are encouraged to make it a family camping event! Camp as a Pack 1 or 2 nights for no additional charge in a wooded campsite!

All are asked to do a Good Turn by bringing a canned/boxed good to donate. All food donations collected during the event will be delivered to a local food bank to help support food security in South Jersey.

Who:     All Cub Scouts, Families, and Cub-Aged Friends

Sign up for a specific range adventure time.

Activity stations are open all day from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Lunch break for all stations except Archery and BBs is 12 PM to 12:45 PM. 

Evening campfire at 7 PM for Packs, Troops, and Crews camping over.

Range Adventure: 

Families, Dens, or Packs: plan your day around a Range Adventure! We have prepared a plan to take you through an orientation, archery, and BBs, including travel between the ranges, in about an hour and twenty minutes. When you register, choose the time you will take your Range Adventure. All participants of the Range Adventure will receive a combined Archery and BB orientation and then head directly to Archery. From Archery, participants will head directly to BBs. Each Range Adventure group will be limited to 24 youth. A new group departs on their Range Adventure every 25 minutes, all day long! (Minimum age to participate in archery is 5; minimum age to participate in BBs is 6.)

Lunch

Bring your lunch or purchase food from our on-site concessions.

Camping: 

Cub Packs are invited to camp overnight 1 or 2 nights, for free. Space will be set aside in Bowie, Crocket, Boone, Carson, Dinning Hall Field for Packs that register ahead of time. Packs will be responsible for their own meals and must provide a roster of all youth and adults staying each night.  

*Camping is not available to families without their Cub Scout Packs*

Key Times

Gates and Check-in Open at 7:30 AM

Range Adventures begin at 8:00 AM (If your Range Adventure is your first activity of your day, please arrive 30 minutes early to check-in for the event itself and allow time to walk to the range.). 

All other activity stations are open 9 AM to 4 PM.

Event ends at 5 PM Saturday for those not camping and 10:00 AM Sunday for those who are.

Camp Trading Post will be open throughout the event to purchase snacks, drinks, gear, etc.
