Splash Into Scouting!

Garden State Council Membership, Program & Popcorn Kickoff

Start the new year (2026-2027) by splashing into Scouting with a “leader luau” to wrap up the summer. Wear your best tropical shirt! Lunch, an event patch, and pool time are all included.

The goal is fun, fellowship, and lots of great info to help unit leaders with the tools, resources, and ideas needed for a successful year. Membership, Program, and Popcorn materials will be available for pickup.

The event begins at 9:00 a.m. with fellowship and networking, followed by informative sessions focused on Membership, Popcorn, and Program opportunities for the upcoming Scouting year.

Topics will include:

• Best practices for conducting a successful Sign-Up Night
• Fall recruitment tips, tricks, and proven strategies
• Recruitment challenges and ways to overcome them
• Pickup of recruitment and program materials
• Success stories and insights from experienced unit leaders
• Updates on upcoming council programs and activities
• And much more!

Lunch & Council Update

Enjoy lunch and participate in a Fireside Chat with Council leadership, featuring updates, insights, and an opportunity for discussion.

End the Day with Some Fun!

1:00 p.m.– 3:00 p.m.

After the seminars, relax and enjoy the swimming pool, which will be open for all attendees.

Cost is just $10 to help cover the cost of food, patch, and lifeguards.
