Wallwood Outdoor Wonders is a one-day adventure where Cub Scouts and their families can explore a variety of exciting program areas. Come spend the day discovering new skills, trying new activities, and making lasting memories!
- Shooting SportsTry your hand at BB gun shooting in our Cub Scout Shooting Sports area.
- Fishing (Weather permitting)Visit the waterfront to fish from the dock or practice your casting skills with Backyard Bass.
- Aquatics (Weather permitting)Enjoy activities at the pool and/or waterfront. Pool activities may include:
- Instructional swimming
- Free swim
- Diving board fun
- Wallwood MuseumExplore the history of Wallwood and see one of the finest collections of Scouting patches within 200 miles.
- Monkey BridgeCan you make it across the rope bridge over our "alligator-infested" parade field? (Don't worry... they're probably not hungry.)
- GamesChallenge your friends in exciting games, including the always-popular Pool Noodle Battle and more!
- CraftsCreate your own custom bamboo walking stick (while supplies last) and enjoy several hands-on craft stations.
- Trading PostStop by for Scout merchandise, snacks, souvenirs, and a few other surprises!
- And Much More! Additional activities are being planned, so there's sure to be something for everyone.
If your scout is planning to swim, a swim test is required to taken within the last 12 months. If your scout has completed a swim test please complete the attached “Swim Classification Form”. If your scout has not attempted a swimming test we will administer prior to being allowed to join free swim.

Make sure to complete the Range and Target Activities Permission and Release Form attached on this page and bring it with you - Must be complete for all shooters and signed by a parent!
A parent/adult partner must accompany Cub Scouts in all activities and must be in the canoe during the aquatics activities, when offered.
Units are encouraged to organize an overnight camping element by booking a campsite at Wallwood!
