Wallwood Outdoor Weekend

"It's All About Shooting Sports!"

Cost: $10.00 per Scout or Adult / Registration deadline:  March 14, 2022

This month's Wallwood Outdoor Weekend is all about Shooting Sports, we'll have ranges open for: 

• BB guns for Tigers and up
• Slingshots for Lions and up
• Rifle Shooting for Scouts BSA/Venturing
• Pistol Shooting for Venturing
• Shotgun Shooting for Scouts BSA/Venturing
• Archery for all levels

Schedule:

• 8:30am - Registration/Check-in 
• 9:00–11:30am - Ranges Open
• 11:30am–1:00pm - Lunch/Trading Post Open
• 1:00–3:00pm - Ranges Open

You may start at the range of your choice and rotate, as you would like.  We'll provide arm bands to designate your shooting level and that you have turned in your permission form (see link to the right).  We'll give a safety briefing for the day, at each range at 9am sharp for all attendees.

The Order of the Arrow will have a grill setup at the Trading Post for those that would like to purchase a lunch.

• Cheeseburger - $4.00
• Hotdog - $2.00
• Fries - $1.00
• Fry Bread - $2.00

Stop in the Trading Post to purchase tickets to "buy" your lunch at the Grill.  The Trading Post will also have drinks, chips, snacks and awesome camp items for sale!

Make sure to complete the Firearms Permission Form attached on this page and bring it with you - Must be complete for all shooters and signed by a parent!

Units may organize an overnight camping element by following the unit camping procedures established for Wallwood and contacting Heather Rosenberg (heather.rosenberg@scouting.org) to make the arrangements.

The health and safety of all of our members is paramount to the Suwannee River Area Council (SRAC). We have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, we cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending activities, functions and meetings of SRAC and SRAC properties, including the Wallwood Boy Scout Reservation (Camp Wallwood) and the Council Service Center, could increase your risk and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19.
