Merit Badge Qualification Makeup

Scouts BSA/Venturing Only (there will be no shooting available for Cub Scouts)

We will be holding a Winter/Summer Camp shooting qualification makeup for Range and Target Activities Merit Badges.  The Rifle, Shotgun and Archery ranges will be open for those Scouts needing to complete the shooting qualification requirements only for those merit badges and for open shooting for all Scouts BSA/Venturing aged youth (no BB gun shooting available) and all adults.

No matter what Winter/Summer Camp you attended, we'll have the ranges open for shooting qualification makeup/completion for Scouts BSA participants, as well as a free shoot for Scouts BSA and Venturing parrticipants.

Please bring any partial confirmation and qualification status that you were provided and we'll work with you to complete the remaining shooting qualifications. If you have no status, we'll be happy work with you from the beginning of the shooting portion only. The only other requirement we can fulfil this day will be firearm cleaning, if that has not been completed.

Range priority will be for those completing the merit badge requirements, but any Scouts BSA or Venturing aged youth (or adult) will be able to participate in either activity as openings are available.

This is your only opportunity to makeup your shooting qualification in 2026!

All Participants under 21 years old:  Please make sure to complete and bring the Range and Target Activities Permission and Release Form listed to the right on this page.

Please note that this event is NOT for scouts to start a new merit badge, we will only be providing an opportunity to complete the shooting qualifications for scouts who have completed all other requirements during a past Winter or Summer Camp.
