2022 Longhorn Council Fall Recruitment Training
The Longhorn Council invites interested volunteers to learn how to recruit new youth and families or re-invite families that are no longer participating by attending our Fall Recruitment Training. Whether you are a seasoned pro or this is your first time, the Longhorn Council is here to help by providing you with resources to ensure you are successful. It doesn't matter whether you are in Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, or Exploring, membership growth is essential to the sustainability of your program. Recruiting families and youth also opens the door for new volunteers to support your units.
Join us on June 28th to learn from other volunteers and place your orders for council provided recruitment supplies. All members of the Longhorn Council are part of the membership committee! We want to ensure that you all are equipped with the supplies, training, and resources needed to invite youth and families to join your life-changing program.
The Boy Scouts of America is a movement, implying growth. True to our mission, Scouting reflects the communities we serve in race, ethnicity, culture, gender, gender identity, physical or mental ability, and faith belief systems that shape our communities by developing responsible citizens while providing lifelong learning opportunities. We are also passionate about providing ACCESS to all of the diverse communities we serve. It is our goal to include all in our program. Let us help you to provide an accessible and open program to serve ALL youth.
