Spaces fill fast—register today and get ready for Pathfinder District’s Cub Scout Day Camp 2026: a dino-sized summer adventure!
Please note, parents: A $5 late fee will be added to the initial registration price for both Cub Scouts and non–Cub Scouts if registration occurs after April 27, 2026 at 9:00 AM.
Campers will explore the outdoors, learn new skills, and make new friends while diving into an action-packed, dinosaur-themed experience they won’t forget.
Not a Cub Scout yet? No problem! Day Camp is open to all boys and girls entering grades 1–5 in Fall 2026 - 2027 school year.
Children who are not currently Cub Scouts should be registered under the Non-Member (Ages 5–10) registration type.

Daily Schedule
Friday & Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:45 PM
Sunday: 12:30 PM – 4:45 PM
Camp Activities

Day Camp is led by trained volunteers and held at a Scouting America National Camp Accreditation School-approved site, ensuring a safe and enriching experience for all participants.
Eligibility
Boys and girls entering grades 1–5 in Fall 2026 - 2027 school year
Kindergarteners (Lion rank) are not eligible!
Selecting the Correct Rank
Register your child based on the grade they will enter in the Fall of the 2026 - 2027 school year:
1st Grade: Tiger - Adult partner required for the entire camp
2nd Grade: Wolf
3rd Grade: Bear
4th Grade: Webelos
5th Grade: Arrow of Light
Ranks are based on the upcoming school year, not the current one
Volunteer Information
Adult Volunteers
Small fee covers t-shirt and supplies
All adults must register and submit a health form
Parents may serve as Camp Den Leaders
Tiger Adult Partners: Register as Adult Chaperone and note “Tiger Adult Partner” in comments section
Also, all adult chaperones and adult staff must complete Safeguarding Youth (SYT) online training if you have not already done so.

Once completed, please email your completion certificate to cubdaycamp@pathfinderlhc.org
Youth Volunteers (Grades 6–12)
Scouts from Troops, Crews, or Ships may serve as Den Chiefs or Program Helpers
Small fee covers t-shirt and supplies
Volunteer service hours provided
Health & Safety
All campers and volunteers must submit a Scouting America Annual Health & Medical Form (Parts A & B)
Forms (English & Spanish) are available under Attachments
Do not email these forms or send them to the council office
A drop-off date will be announced closer to camp
Financial Assistance
Gloria Coyle Cub Scout Camperships are available
Application Deadline: If applying, please submit completed application form to the Longhorn Council office, located at 850 Cannon Dr, Hurst, TX 76054, no later than May 1st, 2026.

Refund Policy
Full refund if camp is canceled, postponed, or rescheduled and your Scout cannot attend
50% refund for cancellations 30+ days before camp
Cancellations within 14 days are at the camp director’s discretion
