Join Scouts BSA, Venturers, Sea Scouts, Explorers, and adults for an exhilarating day of orienteering at Score-O! Whether you're racing to win or just for fun, this event has something for everyone. AOL Dens are welcome to attend with a Troop. With challenges for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced, it's no wonder Score-O is one of our most popular events.

Enjoy a BBQ sandwich, chips, and a drink for just $10. All proceeds support Venture Crew 52. Preorder by 10/14/24 at midnight.

Event Essentials:
- Forms: Complete your Score-O Team Roster Forms and Unit Roster before arrival.
- Camping: First-come, first-served. Assignments will be emailed the week of the event.
- T-Shirts: Preorder completed, we will have limited shirts available for purchase at the event in the Trading Post!
- Patches - Patches will be available for the first 600 registrants.

The Main Event:
For 25 years, Score-O has been the Longhorn Council's largest and most thrilling orienteering event. Teams will receive a 5-color map with 75-85 control markers, each worth varying points. Find as many as you can in 3.5 hours to maximize your score!

What You Need:
- Teams of 3-8 (with at least two registered adults for AOL teams)
- A compass and a watch/stopwatch
- Long pants, trail shoes/boots, and at least two full canteens of water

Don’t Miss Out:

JOTA at Score-O 2024:

Join us for Jamboree on the Air where you can talk to Scouts from around the world and learn about amateur radio while earning part of Scouting's International Spirit Award (open to all Scouts and Scouters)! JOTA is the largest Scouting event in the world with over 1 million Scouts participating! As a bonus, Cubs will earn part of the Arrow of Light Adventure "Building a Better World."
