HAUNTED FESTIVAL 2021

New T-shirt Presale Event! T-shirts are not included in the price of registration for our events. A very limited number of t-shirts will be available for sale in the trading post. If you would like a t-shirt (preview left) please register in advance and select appropriate sizes to add to your order during registration. The cut off dates for t-shirt pre-orders are as follows:

     

        - For Haunted Festival at SR2 on October 8th, the cut off date is September 17th

        - For Haunted Festival at Camp Tahuaya on October 22nd, the cut off date is October 1st

*NEW: Ghoul registration! If you are an adult 18+ or youth staff (under 18) and would like to help us put on the event, you may register as a GHOUL at a discounted price for service. T-shirts and meals not included but can be added on. Limited registrations.

Arrivals:  Everyone must report at the Ranger check-in station upon arrival and undergo temperature screening turn in the two required health screening question documents for every participant. CDC guidelines are constantly being reviewed by Council; please check your email before the event for updated information about arrival and check in procedures.

Covid-19 paperwork must be turned in for EACH PERSON on arrival at the Ranger Station:

  • “Health Screening Questionnaire”
  • “BSA Acknowledgement of Risk” form.

Check-In:  Check-in begins at 8 am on Saturday.

  • SR2 Check-in is at the Buchanan Springs Activity Building (follow signs).
  • Camp Tahuaya Check-in is conducted in front of the Camp Office.

Activities: 10:00 am to 4:30 p.m.

Haunted Trail: Starts at dark. Haunted walks are approximately 20 minutes in duration. Each group will be assigned a departure time. Please honor your assigned departure time. Rides will be available for ADA and medical requests. Please request in advance.

Meals: Meals are not included in the registration price, please add a meal plan to your registration if you do not intend to bring your own food to camp. (Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday continental breakfast)

 - Cut off date to register for meals at Camp Tahuaya is October 12th at midnight

Chapel:  a non-denominational service at 9:00 a.m. Please contact the event coordinator if you would like to volunteer to hold this service. 

Departure: Everyone should police each campsite before leaving.  Remember that a scout is clean and always leaves a campsite cleaner than when they found it.  Trash must be packed out.  Camp closes at 10:30, if you plan to stay longer, you must clear this with the staff and the Ranger.
