The 2023 Heart O' Texas Scoutfest, to be held on the Weekend of October 13 - 15, 2023.  Come prepared to present your best culinary effort to impress the celebrity judges.  Learn how to make your food stand out at campouts and learn new skills from expert chefs.  Scouts BSA Skills will be tested Saturday for activities such as the pancake flipping derby, make-your-own ice cream competition, Cantaloups Scoutmaster Carving Competition, and create your own crepe recipe. 

There will be food catergories of "Best Breakfast Menu", "Best Tasting Home-Made Ice Cream", "Most Delicious Dinner", and more.  This is a NO HOLDS BARRED Cooking Event.  You just CAN'T USE ELECTRICITY.  Any other kind of cooking contraption is allowed.  Smokers, Grills, Dutch Oven's, Camp Stoves, Fires, etc. 

Come set up on Friday night and join us for our campfire.  Possible OA Callout and Community Service Project.  More details to be announced soon.
