Event Overview
Longhorn Council Scouting America and SigmaPro are partnering to deliver a highly specialized Engineering Merit Badge experience inside a real-world medical device manufacturing environment. This unique half-day program gives Scouts direct exposure to advanced engineering, precision manufacturing, automation, and problem-solving within a regulated industry that helps improve lives through medical technology.
Unlike a traditional classroom merit badge session, Scouts will engage directly with professional engineers, observe engineering processes in action, and complete merit badge requirements through immersive, hands-on activities.
This event is intentionally designed as a premium small-group experience to maximize interaction, mentorship, and facility access.
