Brazos River 50-Miler Canoe Trip 2021

Event Details

The Brazos River Canoe Trip (BRCT) is a 50-mile canoe camping trip that is a Worth Ranch high adventure tradition! Spend a week on the river, earn BSA’s 50 Miler award, and test your canoeing, camping, and fishing skills. We do 4 miles of hiking and 47 miles paddling the scenic Brazos River from Possum Kingdom Dam to Oak’s Crossing.

Any Troop, Team, Crew, or Post may send a crew on the Brazos River Canoe Trip. Some units use the BRCT as a shakedown for Northern Tier. Units doing their summer camp at Camp Tahuaya or Sid Richardson Scout Ranch may send a crew on the Brazos River Canoe Trip, but should make their own transportation arrangements to and from Worth Ranch for their canoeing group.
