Cub Scout Day Camp BB & Archery Training 2020
Cub Scout BB & Archery Instructor Training Course
You are invited to Cub Scout Day Camp BB and Archery Instructor Training.
Choose your location: Hurst Council Service Center or Camp Tahuaya.
Classes are approximately 3 hours each.
SCHEDULE:
Saturday, April 25 9:00 a.m. BB. 9:00 a.m. Archery.
1:00 PM BB. 1:00 PM Archery.
Saturday, May 30 9:00 a.m. BB. 9:00 a.m. Archery.
1:00 PM BB. 1:00 PM Archery.
For every week an Instructor runs a range at a district Cub Scout Day Camp, or at 3 district or council events - such as a Cub Shootout, Webeloree, Cub Family Adventure, Rocket Academy, Fall Festival, etc. - they will get one Range Officer Certificate from the camping registrar (suitable for framing).
Range Officers can use each certificate one time to reserve BB and Archery equipment at a Longhorn Council camp to run a Longhorn Council certified BB or archery program for their Pack (at SR2, Worth Ranch, and Tahuaya only).
BB and Archery equipment may not be used off camp property except at official district and council events. The Day Camp BB & Archery Trailers may only be used at official district and council Cub Scout events.
Instructors must agree to serve a minimum of 1 week at Cub Scout Day Camp or 3 weekends at district or council Cub Scout weekend events like Cub Shootout, Webeloree, Cub Family Adventure, Rocket Academy, Fall Festival & Haunted Hayrides, etc
All shooting ranges in the Cub Scout program must be supervised by a qualified range master who is at least 18 years old and who meets the minimum state requirements.
