The NRA Rifle Instructor and Shotgun Instructor certification courses take one Saturday plus two full weekends. You MUST complete all three course weekends. 

Step 1. Take a one Saturday NRA Basic Rifle Shooting and Basic Shotgun Shooting student class.​

Step 2. Take the two-weekend course covering NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and Instructor Specific Rifle and Shotgun Classes. Must attend both weekends.
