Come with your favorite minute sacred scripture (no longer than 2 minutes) to share

Patches will be available to purchase in English for  $5.00 (Once they are gone than you will have to purchase online)

Sacred Text Worldwide

Scouts across the country and around the world are invited to read a sacred text from their faith between now and May 7 in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer. This is something your troop, patrol, or family can do together—or individually.

As a Scout this helps us to be Reverent by, connect faith with everyday life, respect different beliefs, be part of something bigger than themselves

Simple Ways Your Troop Can Participate:

  Read a short passage at a troop meeting, include it in an opening or closing reflection, encourage Scouts to read at home with family, take a photo (optional) and share your participation
