This year’s Merit Badge College will be hosted jointly by the Pathfinder and Mustang Districts, bringing Scouts together for two weekends of learning, advancement, and fun.

Event Dates & Times

Scouts should plan to attend both weekends, as the courses are designed as a two-part experience. Please arrive at the TCC Northeast Campus at Building: NHPE, Room: 1108 (Map Link Below) by 7:30 AM for check-in, classroom assignments, and the opening flag ceremony. Classes will begin promptly at 8:00 AM.

About the Event

Merit Badge College is open to all Scouts BSA youth from Longhorn Council and beyond. Scouts will work with trained adult merit badge counselors in a classroom-style setting to complete requirements through hands-on activities, guided instruction, and group discussion.

The same merit badge courses selected will be attended on both weekends, allowing Scouts to build on what they learn during the first session and complete projects or remaining requirements during the second.

Additional Information

Lunch is not provided. Please bring a meal that does not require refrigeration or reheating.

Cost: $10 per Scout

Some merit badges (such as Cooking and other supply-based courses) may require an additional materials fee.

While every effort is made to secure counselors for all courses, class offerings are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Scouts are encouraged to review merit badge requirements in advance, as some courses may have prerequisites.

Event patches are not guaranteed, depending on registration numbers and shipping timelines; however, we will do our best to ensure all participants receive one.
