Join Longhorn Council and ForgeNow for a hands-on day of skill-building and career exploration as Scouts BSA youth work toward earning either the Plumbing Merit Badge or Electricity Merit Badge. This immersive workshop will be held at ForgeNow's industry training facility, giving Scouts the opportunity to explore essential building trades through guided instruction, demonstrations, and activities led by experienced professionals.

• The registration fee is $25 per participant, which includes merit badge instruction, materials, and access to ForgeNow's specialized training spaces and equipment.
• Attendance is limited to 50 Scouts, with 25 participants in Electricity Merit Badge and 25 participants in Plumbing Merit Badge.
• Lunch will be provided and will include pizza. Scouts with food allergies or specific dietary needs should bring their own lunch.
• Scouts may earn either Plumbing Merit Badge or Electricity Merit Badge during this event. Please select your preferred badge when registering.
• Scouts are encouraged to attend in their Scouting uniform (Class A or B uniforms are all acceptable).
• Closed-toe shoes are required for participation due to the hands-on nature of the training environment.
• Scouts should bring a refillable water bottle. Water and ice will be available on-site.
• Classes will be co-ed and conducted in accordance with Scouting America youth protection guidelines.

• Learn simple maintenance and troubleshooting steps homeowners can take to care for their HVAC systems before calling a service technician. This practical session will help families better understand common HVAC issues and routine upkeep.

What to Look For in a Home Services Company
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

• Featuring the General Manager of Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric, this session will discuss what homeowners should consider when selecting a company for home maintenance and repair services. Learn how to identify reputable providers, ask the right questions, and make informed decisions when service is needed.
