Join us October 1-3, 2021 at the Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation for the Invention Jamboree 2021! This is our 2nd Invention Jamboree. If you attended the first-ever Invention Jamboree in 2019, we invite you to return! We have new, cool activities in store for 2021. If you were not able to attend the first-ever Invention Jamboree in 2019, we invite you to register for this one-of-a-kind experience! Basic Information:
When: October 1-3, 2021
Where: Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation (525 Camp Hohn Dr Gravois Mills, MO 65037)
Who: All Scouts BSA, Venturing, Exploring, and their Families & Friends (In-Council & Out-of-Council)
Cost: $35 per participant. The cost includes all program supplies, invention lab project, two meals (lunch & dinner Saturday), and a patch.
Aduts can register at $25 per participant.
Make sure to pre-order an Invention Jamboree t-shirt! T-Shirts will be $15 each.

Program Information:
Scouts will choose one of three Paths: A, B, or C. Each path is named after a famous Missouri Inventor and will have unique activities. Please view the different paths below:
Path A (George Washington Carver): Shooting, Invention Lab, Blacksmithing, Geospatial Mapping

In Shooting, Scouts will work in teams to develop new types of moving targets. In Invention Lab, Scouts will get to exercise their electronics skills and use soldering irons to make a unique, invention project. In blacksmithing, Scouts will experience the ancient art of metalworking. In Geospatial Mapping, Scouts will work with the latest drone-mapping technology to learn about Geographic Information Systems.
Path B (Edwin Hubble): Climbing, Invention Lab, Welding, Tech
In Climbing, Scouts will learn about the newest Climbing technology. Scouts will also get to experience the climbing wall. In Invention Lab, Scouts will get to exercise their electronics skills and use soldering irons to make a unique, invention project. In welding, Scouts will experience how to join metal.
Path C (James Fergason): Drones, Invention Lab, Woodworking, Design

Drones are used for everything. If you are interested in learning about the latest in Drone technology, then this is the path for you! Scouts will also get to work in our woodworking building to help build woodworking projects. In Design, Scouts will work with the latest software to help design things like banners in the sublimation printer and molds in the Vaquform.

Adult Program:
Adults will get to make the Invention Lab project during our open lab time in the evening. We also will have program for Adults throughout the day!

Camping: Camping will be available Friday & Saturday evening. Please indicate in the registration what nights you will be camping or if you will not be camping. Once registered, camp sites will be assigned. If you have any questions, please contact Camp Director, Dennis Kerns.
Restrooms/Showerhouses: Restrooms and showerhouses are located at Show n' Do, Cherokee, Program Building, and the Welcome Center/Pool Area
Campfires: There are fire pits at each campsite. In addition, there are fire barrels in each shelter. Units may bring their own firewood and charcoal. You can also purchase charcoal. Please contact Dennis Kerns if you need to purchase charcoal.
Overnight Accomdations: If you are not planning on camping but would like to stay overnight, there are a few options available near camp:
1. Lake House Inn (closest to camp, 245 S Main St Laurie, MO 65038) - (573) 374-7744
2. Water's Edge Motel (about 20 minute drive from camp, 25587 MO-5, Gravois Mills, MO 65037) - (573) 372-2201
Meals: Lunch & Dinner Saturday are provided. Units and attendees will need to provide breakfast. We recommend bringing a continental breakfast. Please bring cooking gear, etc. if applicable.
Trading Post: the Trading Post will be open! Get camping gear, t-shirts, snacks, and more!
