Join us for Cub Camp during the summer of 2023! The theme of this year's summer camp is PIRATES! 

Summer camp is the highlight of the Scouting year. Young men and women join Scouting to get outdoors, and the Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation is a wonderful environment for Scouts to interact with the Scouting program, nature, and each other. The LOTOSR Summer Camp Staff is committed to providing the best possible program during your unit’s week of camp. Our goal is to be friendly and responsive to the needs of your unit, and to set an excellent example of what Scouting should be to all those attending camp. The staff is carefully selected and trained to assist in your stay. The dates for 2023 Cub Scout Summer Camp are as follows: 

• Cub Akela Camp: July 16-18, 2023
• Cub Adventure Camp: July 16-20, 2023
• Webelos Camp: July 16-20, 2023

Cub Akela Camp offers a terrific three day/two-night program for Cubs of all ages. Cubs register and attend along with others from their packs or dens. Cubs will spend their days participating in a variety of structured activities including BB Guns, archery, swimming, crafts, games, rowboats, hikes, and evening activities. These activities are designed to provide advancement opportunities using Cub Adventures. There is no better way to get your Scout’s year off to a great start!

Cub Adventure Camp is our 4 night Cub Scout camping program and will run concurrently with the Akela Camp and Webelos Camp programs – Day 3 will pick up where Cub Akela Camp left off, right after breakfast. The activities during Cub Adventure will focus on the Cub Scout Adventures in the Cub Scout requirements!

Webelos Camp is a five-day, four-night camp complete with advancement activities focused on the Webelos Adventures! Each day offers a variety of pre-programmed activities including Pellet Guns, slingshots, archery, hiking, games, canoeing, swimming, and fishing as well as other evening activities provided by our excellent staff. Webelos Scouts will enjoy the outdoors, play games, make new friends, learn Scouting skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

The costs for 2023 Cub Scout Summer Camp are as follows:

Cub Akela Camp: 

• Early-bird fee (if paid in full by June 15th): $110 for youth, $85 for adults
• Standard fee: $125 for youth, $85 for adults

Cub Adventure Camp:

• Early-bird fee: (if paid in full by June 15th): $195 for youth, $115 for adults
• Standard fee: $210 for youth, $115 for adults

Webelos Camp:

• Early-bird fee: (if paid in full by June 15th): $195 for youth, $115 for adults
• Standard fee: $210 for youth, $115 for adults

$25 non-refundable, per person deposit is due at registration starting March 15th. This deposit locks-in your spot for summer camp. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable. 

Full balances are due by July 1, 2023.

Summer Camp Registration Timeline:

• March 15, 2023: Registration Opens 
• June 3, 2023: Cub Scout Summer Camp Preview via Zoom @ 10am (click to join zoom)
• June 15, 2023: Camper Savings - Early Bird Fee Ends
• July 1, 2023: Registration clsoes and full balances are due 

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

Before the June 15th Camper Savings Day, all fees other than the $25 per person deposit, are refundable and transferable. Please check your Scouts’ prior commitments to family vacations and other summer activities before June 15th. After the June 15th Camper Savings Day, the following policy applies:

Refund requests MUST be submitted in writing to the Camp Director before departing from camp. A unit leader or Scout may request a refund of the fees under the following conditions ONLY:

• Illness or serious accident of Scout prevents their attendance at camp.
• Family illness or emergency prevents the Scout’s attendance at camp.

Camper fees are nontransferable between scouts or leaders.

Refund requests for a Scout or leader who changes their mind about attending, or decides to not attend for any reason other than those listed above, WILL NOT BE considered.

If the refund request is granted, the $25 deposit and an additional 25% camp readiness fee will be withheld; however, if your unit wants your refundable fees transferred to your unit Scout Shop account, the readiness fee will be reduced to 15% (available for Great Rivers Council units only). Scouts leaving camp early will not be eligible for partial refunds.  Refund requests submitted after leaving camp will not be honored.
