Scuba Diving Adventure Camp

Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation

Get ready for an unforgettable week of exploration, adventure, and underwater discovery! The Scuba Diving Camp at the Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation offers campers the chance to dive into a unique aquatic experience while earning a PADI Open Water Diver scuba certification in a fun, supportive environment.

Program Overview

This exciting 5-day program blends hands-on training, classroom learning, and open-water diving at two premier locations:

  • 3 Days at Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation
  • 2 Days at Lake Ozark Rock Quarry

Campers will progress from foundational skills to more advanced diving techniques under the guidance of certified instructors and experienced staff.

What Campers Will Experience

Professional Scuba Training

Campers will complete comprehensive coursework and in-water skill sessions designed to build confidence and competence in scuba diving.

Confined Water Practice

Initial training at the Scout Reservation introduces equipment use, safety procedures, and key diving skills in a controlled environment.

Open Water Diving at Lake Ozark Rock Quarry

Two days of diving in the clear quarry waters provide ideal conditions for completing advanced training dives and refining skills.

Outdoor Adventure & Camaraderie

Campers will enjoy the full camp experience, including teamwork, new friendships, and the natural beauty of the Lake of the Ozarks.

Meals & Accommodations

All meals are provided throughout the program, keeping campers fueled and ready for each day’s activities. Campers will stay in the cabins at the Scout Reservation and in tents during the quarry days, with meals provided on-site at both locations.

Certification Achievement

By the end of the program, campers who successfully complete all training, coursework, and required open water dives will earn their PADI Open Water Diver Certification.

This globally recognized certification allows participants to dive deeper, expand their skills, and continue exploring the underwater world with confidence.
