Attention Female Scouts!

Join us for an exciting conservation-themed weekend of camping with opportunities to earn merit badges and participate in a service project!

Outdoor Skills Academy is returning this fall to the Sinquefield Reserve, November 8-10th.

OSA, which is female for bear, is a female centric event. 

Female scouts will have the opportunity to camp and earn one of the following merit badges: Soil and Water Conservation, Fish and Wildlife Management, Sustainability, or Forestry. Each participant will also receive event beads and a program booklet
The conservation project will be held Saturday morning from 9:00 AM to lunch with merit badge sessions from lunch until five. 
*Several merit badges have prerequisites that need to be completed before the event in order to complete the Merit Badge that day.

    • Requirement 3 Food-Do A;
    • Requirement 6 Stuff-Do A;
  • Soil & Water Conservation

    • Requirement #5 
  • Fish & Wildlife
    • Requirement #7
 
Registration Fee is $20 for scouts taking a Merit Badge, $15 for Scouts not taking a merit badge, and $15 for Adults.
(Dinner in included with the registration fee)
 

Camping is optional, but encouraged to foster inter- troop connections.

All program will be Saturday November the 9th.

  • 7:00-8:30 AM      Check in
  • 8:30-9:00 AM      Welcome & Introductions
  • 9:00 AM-12:00 PM Conservation Project
  • 12:00-1:00 PM    Lunch
  • 1:00-5:00 PM      Merit Badge 
  • 5:00 PM           Closing
  • 5:30-7:00 PM     Supper
  • 7:00 PM          Guest Speaker
