Get ready for an unforgettable summer at the Scouting Adventure Center's Innovation Space Summer Day Camp! Our dynamic and interactive camps will challenge your child to learn and explore in a fun and supportive environment. Through hands-on activities and exciting challenges, our programs develop self-confidence, spark creativity, foster teamwork, and unleash your child's innate innovation and problem-solving skills. This summer, we're offering five thrilling themes:

June 10-13: Innovate with Engineering

June 17-20: Electrifying Electronics

June 24-27: Science is Fun

July 1-4: Tech Adventures

Jul 8-11: Be Prepared (Health & Safety)

Our experienced staff will guide camp participants through a journey of discovery, filled with engaging activities, team-building games, and much more. Each session is open to anyone between the ages of 6 and 13 (you do not have to be a scout to attend), and you can attend as many sessions as you'd like. Each theme has its own unique curriculum, ensuring a fresh and exciting experience every week.

Innovate with Engineering will be a thrilling week of hands-on activities that combine fun and innovation. Campers will learn basic engineering principles while building levers, linkages, bridges, and so much more. Each day will be filled with team-building games and projects, both indoors and outdoors, even including a climb on our 26ft indoor wall! By the end of the week, campers will design, build, and test their own engineering project. They'll have so much fun, they won't realize how much they've learned!

Electronics and Circuits come to life in this exciting week of hands-on activities! Campers will learn about circuits, charges, batteries, electric motors, and more through fun experiments and projects. They'll engage in creative team-building activities, problem-solving games, and a mix of indoor and outdoor fun every day.

Science is fun! Join us for a week of experiments, creativity, and innovation as we learn about the properties of water, gases, the 5 senses, thermal energy, and much more! Every day, campers will dive into hands-on and exciting experiments and activities to discover why science is so much fun. We'll wrap up the week with an ice cream party, enjoying ice cream made by the campers themselves using science!

Tech adventures is a hands-on exploration of technology and creativity! Campers will spend the week playing games, having fun, and even building their own adventures by creating their own games on the computer. They'll learn age-appropriate skills like programming basics, computer safety, and other computer skills. Each day will also be filled with indoor and outdoor activities designed to build confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving. This tech adventure is a must-experience!

Be Prepared: Practical Skills for Safety and Confidence

Life can be unpredictable, but being prepared can make all the difference. This week, we're exploring what it means to be prepared and how we can equip our campers with the skills they need to handle everyday situations.

Our hands-on activities will cover key areas like first aid, online safety, home safety, responsible pet care, emergency response and more. Each lesson is designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, building confidence and problem-solving skills that will serve campers well now and in the future.
