***UPDATE***

Due to the rain and storm damage from this week, Rock Bridge State Park staff could not prepare for this weekend's Scout Service Day.  Due to the Rock Bridge Park cancellation, all those registered for Rock Bridge have been reassigned to Thousand Hills State Park.  There is no need to change your registration or do anything at this time.

The 14th Annual State Park Service Day is done in coordination with Missouri State Parks under the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Scouts will have the option of volunteering at either Thousand Hills State Park, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Rock Bridge State Park,or Lake Ozark State Park.

Basic Information:

When: Saturday April 5th,  2025

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 24th, 2025

Cost: $5 per Scout or Adult 

Who: this event is limited to Arrow of Lights, Scouts BSA Scouts, and Adults

Camping: camping is available to units Friday and Saturday evening at the special use areas inside the parks

Important Information:

A signed Parent Permission Form is required at Park check-in for each Scout under 18  (link can be found attached on this registration page)

Units not camping need to arrive at their assigned Park by 8:00 a.m. Saturday for check-in.  

STATE PARK PROVIDES: Camping location; service projects; tools for projects; extra drinking water.

SCOUTS/SCOUTERS PROVIDE THEIR OWN: Proper work attire for outside/weather conditions, work gloves, boots, personal water bottle, transport to work sites, safety glasses recommended.

PROJECTS: Trail work, group camp work, clear fire pits, playground work, and other essential park projects.

SERVICE HOURS: 4-6 hours; state park & Scout patches awarded.
