Tech Adventures - Coding for Kids (Ages 6-8)

Let's learn how to code!  This six-week adventure is a great introduction to coding for ages 6-8. Participants will start out with online safety and then dive into an introduction to coding, building on their skills with each session throughout the week.   This course offers a computer science curriculum for beginning students. Students will learn to program using commands like loops and events. The lessons featured in this course also teach students to meaningfully collaborate with others, investigate different problem-solving techniques, persist in the face of challenging tasks, and learn about internet safety.  Each participant moves at their own pace throughout the course with our professional staff guiding them along the way. 

Students will meet for 90 minutes every Thursday from 5:30 - 7:00 PM for six weeks (With a week break in December for the Holidays)
