Join us for this 16-hour in-person class with practical application that satisfies Scouting America's requirements for Scouters going to High Adventure bases and National Jamboree. Topics include: Primary and Secondary Assessments, Head/Brain, Neck and Spinal Injuries, Heat-Related Emergencies, Hypothermia, Altitude-Related Illnesses, Allergies and Anaphylaxis, Burns, Bone and Joint Injuries, and Wounds and Wound Infection. 

Prerequisites: Students must be at least 14 years old and hold current adult CPR/AED certification.

Class Cost: $199.99

Materials: The Red Cross requires that each student have the current textbook at this course. The digital textbook is sent when you register for the class. You can also choose to add the printed reference guide to your order for $24.99.
