Scouting For Food 2026

Please register your unit and provide the area you intend to cover.

Scouting for Food is an opportunity to give back to the community and to help raise food for your local food pantries.  Around your Chartered Organizations neighborhoods, your unit can pass our flyers the first Saturday of March, March 7th. The following Saturday, March 14th, your unit would go back to the neighborhoods to collect the food and deliver it to your local food pantries. Make sure to record how much you donated so we can see how much food we donated this year. This is great opportunity to show why Scouting is good for the community and that we are here to help.

• Flyer drop off is recommended to take place on Saturday, March 7th.
• Collection is on Saturday, March 14th.
• Please return to the calendar event "Scouting for Food Final Totals" listed on March 22nd to submit your totals!
• Please contact your local Food Pantry to let them know the time you plan on coming to let them have staff to sort the food!
• Please refrain from putting flyers in mailboxes!  Post offices do not allow this, so please put them in door frames.

Maps of where your unit will be dropping off can be scanned and emailed to christopher.wood@scouting.org
