Opening Day Camp-O-Ree

REGISTRATION OPENS: FEBRUARY 19th, 2026

Opening Day Spring Camporee is a weekend long Camporee planned by council volunteers the purpose of providing additional camping opportunities to Troops, have fun, and provide different options for younger and older Scouts.  By expanded merit badge instruction*, hands on Scout Skills training and shooting sports opportunities this is event is focused on troop participation**.  

Activities Include:

• MERIT BADGE PALOOZA 
  • Certain MB may have additional fees
• NEW SCOUTS BSA QUICK START
• INDV 1/2 DAY SHOOTING COMPETITION (Troop Shoot Lite)

* Merit badge counselors are solely responsible for determining if the requirements for the merit badge are met by the scout. The organizers of this outing are not responsible for guaranteeing an individual scout will fulfill all of the requirements in one session.

**Since this is a Troop program, no individual registrations will be accepted and standard BSA Youth Protection procedures will be in effect for each individual B/G Troop. Troops will be expected to assist in meeting two deep leadership guidelines during the weekend.
