Cub Scout Snow Days

Beartrap Meadow on Casper Mountain
The theme for this year’s Snow Days will be Superheroes! Cub Scout Packs will build snow sculptures based on this theme.  Snow Days will be held at Bear Trap Meadow at the North Shelter, just off the parking lot by the playground.

Event Schedule:

Saturday, March 3, 2018

1:00 p.m. Packs Check in
1:30-2:00 p.m. Packs begin Piling Snow
2:00-3:30 p.m. Packs create Snow Sculptures
3:30-3:45 p.m. judging
3:45-4:00 p.m. Closing Ceremony and Awards.

Packs will be judged equally on attitude, creativity, and design.

Items to bring with you.

• For Cold Weather: extra water, extra pairs of socks & gloves, sunscreen.
• For Sculpting: shovels, buckets, sleds, water, dye (food coloring works), spray bottles, Pack Flag. (Adults may use blow torches)

Items to leave at home.

• Snowmobiles, ATVs, and Snowmachines as these items are prohibited by the Guide to Safe Scouting and are not approved for use at Scouting events. This includes by Adults.

Fees $5.00 per Cub Scout
