Dear Applicant for the Summer Camping Season,

We are delighted that you are considering spending your summer with us at Camp Buffalo Bill. To those of us lucky enough to call Camp Buffalo Bill our summer home, Camp is a life changing experience where staff members share a common pride and enthusiasm for creating a magical week that the boys will remember for the rest of their lives. Staff members themselves leave camp transformed by the beauty of the wilderness and the joy of making a real difference in a boy’s life. We invite you to join our staff of committed individuals as we strive to make 2019 (Our 70th!)  the best year in the history of our camp.

Applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis and applicants are encouraged to apply early to insure consideration. One important general note: The staff application uses the same system that is built for camp registration. So you will notice the page's language refers to you as a "registrant" or "participant". It will also make it seem like there's a fee for your "registration" - this is not true! You do not need to submit any form of payment for your application, you just need to complete all of the contact and background information and then complete the questions.

Please use the following steps to navigate the application process:
1) The first option you will have after clicking on the link below takes you to a home page describing the staff application. On the right-hand side of the page, there is a button titled "Register". Click this.

a) You'll be prompted to "Log in" or "Continue as Guest". Click "continue as guest".

2) Next, indicate what kind of staff position you will be applying for. You have three options: as a youth Camp staffer (if you're under 18), an adult Camp staffer (you're over 18), or a High Adventure staffer (you're over 18 and have the skills, desire, and experience to apply for YHAO). Click the applicable option.
3) This will take you to a page prompting you to complete contact information. You must do this before you can do anything else within the application.

a) IMPORTANT: include an email address that you actually check, not your junk email address. We will use this as the primary way to contact you in the coming months before camp.

4) After you have completed your contact information, you will be able to click the "Participant" tab. This is where the application information is.

a) If you were not part of a Scouting unit before working at Camp, please put your Council as Greater Wyoming Council, your District as Bighorn, and your Venture Crew as 3949. (This is the camp Venture Crew that you will be a part of if you are a staff member.)

b) If there are questions that don't apply to you (i.e. you've never been part of the Order of the Arrow) simply leave these blank.

c) Note that there are different questions for first-time staffers and return staffers. 

d) Finally, click "save".
