ABOUT:

The Otyokwa Lodge is hosting the I ♥ CAMPoree Cheerful Service Weekend. Everybody is invited.

As you are likely aware, our cabins were damaged in 2020 by hail and are in need of the finishing touches to be ready for the summer. Cabin work includes: installing permanent ridge caps, replacement of screens, and replacement of canvas sides. Certain campsites may need work on special projects such as: installing benches around the fire ring, repairing boats, docks, deep cleaning, trail maintenance and more.

In addition to the work that needs to be done in the campsites, Camp Phillips is hosting National Camping School in May which will welcome visitors from across the US and will be opening in June for its 70th summer camp season. Teams/Troops may be assigned to projects such as opening and cleaning buildings, setting up program areas, and painting.

We are fortunate to have so many people that love and care for our camp. We need your help to ensure that we are ready to provide a world-class experience to you and our visitors in 2022.

Be sure to indicate where you or your troop would like help by clicking here

Our goal is to keep the costs under $10 per person. Everybody who registers before May 2, 2022 will receive a tee shirt, that will only be available to those who participate in this event. Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday.

This event is not to take the place of our annual Spring Camporee; this year's Spring Camporee is the Airshow Camporee. Click here for more information about the Airshow Camporee.

WE NEED YOUR TROOP:
We are looking for troops to sponsor a campsite. You will be paired up with team lead that will guide you through any skilled or technical work that needs to be done in your site.

EVERYBODY IS WELCOME:
All are welcome, even if you are not a member of the OA or with your troop. Youth must be in attendance with their Troop or with a guardian. Please bring work gloves, drills, hammers, rakes, brooms, wheelbarrows and a current BSA Health Form part A & B

THERE WILL BE PLENTY OF FUN THINGS TO DO TOO:

A BBQ celebration on Saturday night with music, a yard game extravaganza, prizes, a root beer keg, and plenty of good food.
