Days of Service

Camp Phillips Days of Service occur once a month. People of all abilities and skills are welcome to join us. These days start at 9 AM Saturday and conclude by 5 PM Saturday*. Housing is available upon request, please notify Scott Simpson if you need housing arrangements*. 

We will be working on service projects, construction, and general maintenance of our property. Your help is greatly appreciated!

MISSION OF SERVICE DAYS: The Chippewa Valley Council is committed to provide safe and high quality facility for Scout and Scouters alike. At L.E. Phillips Scout Reservation, we are looking to grow our year round corps of volunteers to uphold this vision by maintaining and upkeeping the property year round. Through your support, the council is able to provide safe and meaningful programming to all Scouts.

*April and May dates are considered a full work weekend. Work weekends have housing and meals all weekend will be provided, as well as an earlier start time.

• April work weekend is held in conjunction with OA Fellowship.
• May work weekend will be a final push to get ready for the National Camping School and summer programs. We will have an appreciation dinner and fellowship opportunities this weekend as well. Bring a spouse or special guest.

DETAILS:

• Lunch is provided. 
• Youth may only attend under the supervision of a guardian.
• Arrive on Saturday and work for the day, or you can stay all weekend, upon request. 
• Upcoming dates in the "When and Where" section of this page. 
• There is no cost to attend, but please pre-register. This will help us make sure that we have enough food & supplies.
