Before the summer starts, take the opportunity to have a fun weekend at Camp Phillips! 

Lunch is provided on Saturday. Your unit is responsible for all other meals. 

If staying overnight, you may stay in one of our campsites with cabins, running water, a latrine, a pavilion and fire ring.

 

What is there to do at the Open House Weekend?

There are only a few planned activities. Camp is open for you to hike, camp, fish, practice scout skills, and enjoy nature.

 

Adult Leader Training

  • Wilderness First Aid Training. $130 Must register by 4/17/18. You must have a current CPR certification prior to arrival. American Red Cross Wilderness First Aid training will be taught by a certified instructor. Boy Scouts of America requires adults with Wilderness First Aid training on all treks. Includes all materials, meals and lodging at Winter Camp.

  • Safety Afloat Required training if your youth are using boats during the event. Cost - Free!

Open Shooting Range - Additional $5 (Age 12 and Older)

Camp Phillips has a State-of-the-Art Shooting Sports Facility. Spend Saturday afternoon (12 - 3:30) shooting shotgun, and shooting .22 rifle. Ranges will be supervised by certified Instructors and Range Safety Officers.
 

You can register to play traditional scored games of Trap on our voice-activated Trap Range. Only $10 per round (in addition to $5 shooting and $8 registration fee). Fee includes ammunition, clay pigeons and instruction.

Open Fishing (All ages)

Fishing season will officially be open in Wisconsin. The private lakes of Camp Phillips boasts Bass, Sunfish and Panfish. Row Boats are available. Enjoy the weather and get a jump on the fishing before the summer season!
 

Wisconsin DNR regulations must be followed, everybody over the age of 16 must have a fishing license. You must provide your own fishing gear. Rowboats, life jackets will be provided.
