Clear Water Merit Badge Event 2018

Event Details

On October 20th 2018,  the Clear Water District's Troop's are hosting a merit badge clinic at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Ave., Eau Claire, WI

The Fee is $10.00 for the day. Check in is between 8:00 and 8:30.

After you are registered for the event, you may change, drop, and add classes up until 1 day before the event.

*** If you are registering for a 1/2 day class, the system will prevent you from registering for an all day class.

***If you would like your fee taken out of your unit account after you have processed your registration send an email to Terri.Jay@Scouting.org and she can do that for you. 

Scouts taking Golf or Aviation and  will meet at the Offsite location in the AM. They must bring a sack lunch with them to the class

Lunch will be available to purchase on site for $5.00.

Snacks/soft drinks/beverage will also be available to purchase at the clinic. Please bring cash!

Merit badge books will be available at the clinic for $5.25 each. Please bring cash or a check made out to BSA to purchase them.

ADULT LEADER TRAINING AVAILABLE:

o   Cubmaster & Assistant Cubmaster- (Margaret Almquist) This course is intended to provide Cubmasters with the information and tools they need to successfully lead a Cub Scout Pack. With this course, Youth Protection Training, and the online Weather Hazards class, participants are considered position “Trained.” Take Weather Hazards now: My.Scouting.Org

o   Den Leader & Assistant Den Leader Specific  - (Travas Aker) This course is intended to provide Den Leaders with the information and tools they need to conduct successful Den Meetings. With this course, Youth Protection Training, and the online Weather Hazards class, participants are considered position “Trained.” Take Weather Hazards now: My.Scouting.Org

o   Pack Committee Challenge – (Joan Miller) For Pack Committee Chairs and Members. What is your Purpose & Function? Vital to the Pack, this course explores the responsibilities and reality of the positions, as well as interactions with Pack Leaders, Parents, and the Unit's Chartering Organization.

 

o   Youth Protection Classroom Training (YPT) – (Joan Miller & Travas Aker) Youth Protection starts with You. The new version (online or classroom) of the training is REQUIRED for all registered BSA Leaders and involved parents. Update by October 1st, 2018 –cannot recharter without it. No person under the age of 18 may attend this class unless they are going to be camp staff or NYLT.
