Glacial Trails Pinewood Derby

Fee: $10 per racer

ALL Scouts from each rank (Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos 1, and Arrow of Light) from every pack in the Blue Hills District are invited to attend. Siblings & Adults can register to compete in the Outlaw Division! (see attached rules).

Trophies:  1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Each Den. Safest Driver. Best in Show.

2:00-3:00pm Registration, Weigh In, and Inspections

Approx 3:00pm (or when all registered attendees are checked in) - Race Begins

• Outlaw Division (Open to anyone who wants to compete) - Will not compete for safest driver or best in show.
  • Rules for Outlaw Division:
    • Maximum weight: 12oz
    • Minimum number of wheels: 3
    • Length:  5-7”
    • Width: 1 ¾” – 2 ¾”
    • The front center of the car must touch the starting pin
    • The car must be free wheeling, with no starting devices
    • No liquid, moving weights or hazardous materials will be allowed.
    • The clearance under the car must be at least 3/8”
