First Year Camper Weekend is an opportunity to allow new Scouts BSA to earn requirements toward Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class prior to summer camp.  This will allow Scouts to participate in a traditional week of summer camp.  This year the program begins on Sunday night at 6:30 pm and runs through 5:30 pm on Tuesday.   Scouts will be separated into patrols with Council appointed Scoutmasters.  Scouts will also have an opportunity to earn up to 2 merit badges.  A special parent patrol will be formed to provide activities for them.  Parents are welcome to attend, but it's optional.
