Through ECSI (Emergency Care amd Safety Institute), Wilderness Aid: Emergency Care in Remote Locations will be offered through our Council.  This or a similar course is required for any high adventure program.

This is a 16-hour course.  In this course you will learn how to manange situations in the back country when help is not close by.  There will be visual aids, lecture sessions and hands-on training.  This course includes CPR/AED Certification.

This will be an in-person program.  Two, 8-hour sessions, April 5, 8am-5pm and April 6, 8am-5pm.  All classes will be held at the Milwaukee Scout Service Center (330 S. 84th Street, Milwaukee, WI).  Scouts attending must be at least Life Rank.  Each participant should bring their own lunch and snacks.
