Join us for the Motor Boating Merit Badge Clinic.

Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm.

Scouts must have DNR Safe Boating or be taking it in a class below:

DNR Safe Boating - June 4th 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and June 6th, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the South Shore Yacht Club (Commodores Cove).  Click here to register for the class.  Cost is $10.00 for the class and will be collected on the first day of the class.  Ring door bell at gate for admittance, class is upstairs.

Please bring a lunch.

If a Scout already has taken the DNR safe boating class and has a license, they only have to attend the merit badge portion on June 6, 2026 from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm and can click on the register button.

Class meets outside at the South Shore Yacht Club, 2300 East Nock St., Milwaukee. Must attend both days scheduled. Classes may be rescheduled due to weather (rain or storms). Dress for the weather as it is often much cooler by the lake. 

Bring a life jacket if you have one or one will be provided to you to wear. 

All Scouts must have proof of passing the BSA Swim Test prior to attending the clinic. A letter from the Scoutmaster will be accepted.
