Through ECSI (Emergency Care and Safety Institute), Wilderness Aid: Emergency Care in Remote Locations will be offered through our Council.  This or a similar course is required for any high adventure program.

This is a 16-hour course.  In this course you will learn how to manage situations in the back country when help is not close by.  There will be visual aids, lecture sessions and hands-on training.  This course includes CPR/AED Certification.

This will be an in-person program.  Two, 8-hour sessions, January 17 from 8am-5pm and January 18 from 8am-5pm.  All classes will be held at the Milwaukee Scout Service Center (330 S. 84th Street, Milwaukee, WI).  Scouts attending must be at least Life Rank.  Each participant should bring their own lunch and snacks.
